The Museums of Port Isabel and the Consulado de Mexico ~Brownsville, Texas are proud to present “HIPER REALISM” an art exhibition by Matamoros artist Mario Jimenez Diaz with a reception opening on Monday, March 31 from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Treasures of the Gulf Museum’s Community Gallery. The exhibition is made up of large oil paintings on canvas depicting realistic portraits and group scenes. Everyone is welcome to attend the reception.
Mr. Mario Jimenez Diaz who resides in Matamoros, Mexico received his Bachelor degree in Visual Arts with a specialty in video production and in plastic arts from the Universidad Autonoma de Nuevo Leon. He works as a professor in local universities as well as in the marketing and promotions field in Matamoros. His art has been exhibited in various locations in Mexico and the United States. This exhibition is one of many that will be exhibited at the Museums of Port Isabel through the support of the Mexican Consulate in Brownsville, Texas.
