Plans for the re-organization of a girls baseball team for Port Isabel have been completed, with the season to officially open about the first of next week. The diamond is now being put into good condition and games are being scheduled with various Valley teams. A box supper was recently held at the Royal Café, the proceeds from which are being utilized in purchasing the necessary equipment for the team.
